Mission
More people should be able to shape what comes next.
We believe AI should give more people the means to turn their ideas into reality. Our contribution is to build products that make collaboration more efficient, knowledge reusable and technology easier to control.
Our conviction
Ideas need a chance to become real.
Learning something new, developing a product or testing an idea takes time and resources. When technology makes that effort more manageable, more people can take part. This is the purpose we see in efficiency: it gives people more choices.
Our purpose
Make collaboration work.
We develop products for the points where work passes between people, AI and software. A clear task, shared knowledge and a reliable handover help everyone contribute. That is where we see the opportunity to achieve more with the resources available.
Our responsibility
The future needs care as well as ambition.
AI depends on physical resources. We aim to reduce the computing and energy needed to complete a task well. Reusing results is one approach; preparing the right information is another. We only claim energy savings when measurements support them.
Principles
What we stand for.
Our principles matter when they shape a decision. These are the commitments we bring to product development.
Human judgement
People set the purpose and the permissions. AI should help them make informed decisions and act on them.
Knowledge that lasts
Useful findings should remain available, with their sources and a way to correct them as things change.
Honest evidence
We distinguish what a product does today, what we have measured and what we are working towards.
Care for resources
We assess the result together with the time, computing power and energy needed to produce it.
Freedom to choose
People should be able to choose their tools and take useful work with them when they move on.
Control over data
People should be able to understand where their information goes and decide how it may be used.
How we develop
Build for a reason. Improve with evidence.
For our own products, we start with the function we want to deliver. We then compare the value of different solutions with the effort they require.
This method is called value engineering. It helps us choose what to develop, test an alternative and judge whether the change genuinely improves the product.
- 01Define the purposeAgree what the product must do and what a good result looks like.
- 02Understand the effortLook at the time, manual work and computing the task requires.
- 03Develop an alternativeBuild a different approach while keeping the same requirements.
- 04Check the outcomeCompare quality and effort, then use the findings to guide the next decision.
Our products put this mission to work.
